tanung ko lang in usual threads and sa mga sites n rin about honda civics laging magkakasama ang civic 1996 to 2000.
anu b ang mga differences nito aside from year of release?
dun sa isang thread n nabasa ko about vtec, 1996 to 2000 are using vtec e
ph16a b lahat ng stock engine nila?

The pre-facelift versions (1996-1998) all came with black bumper and side strips as well - that's one big giveaway.

The 96 and 2000 vt1 actually have the same body platform. The difference is that the bumper front and back are bigger, rounder, and without the bumper protector. It has bigger lights too.
The engine of the VTi is actually the same.
except ofcourse the SIR which use a DOHC Vtec, compared to the SOHC of the VTi. The LXi on the other hand has the same engine block, and is a non-vtec engine.
the variance: EF body - Is the box type civic
EG body - is the ESI body with no grill in front
EK body - is the SIR body with variation
ES body - is the body with a triangle light on the back VTEC3
FD body - is the current civic model
Im not sure, maybe im wrong.
