March 23rd, 2014 09:45 PM #11had this same problem with my city, suggest to open the cover in front of the steering wheel tapos parang may wiring dyan, kailangan mo lang kalugin or tighten.. you can also remove it and then clean it, kasi the wiring might be dirty or might have short circuited... i think i took a picture of this... will just look for it..

replace the switch assembly. I replaced mine already. same symptoms, no low beam but high beam meron and the night before nag-amoy sunog sa loob ng cabin. ung isang car naman, ibang symptom, yung flashing lang ng high beam ang wala pero low beam and high beam meron. around 2.8K sa casa yung switch.

^ Wag WD40 baka bumigay ang plastic, mabali. Check mo rin baka may nabungi na plastic at mga loose connections.

April 1st, 2014 05:04 PM #20I had the same problem with my sister's 08 City. The low-beam did not work but the high-beam was fine. Turning the low-beam on and off would eventually turn the low-beam on.
I brought it to an auto electrician, Danny Hipolito. The switch had apparently been repaired by the former owner. The electrician built a relay as a stop-gap measure. Changing the light switch is the long-term solution.
