the first few units are usually CBU, or SKD like yung mga unang labas ng EG made in thailand. sa EK naman mga unang labas na SO4 (96 model) may ilang CBU din yan pero sa SiR (PADEK) body lahat yan locally assembled na.

as for the imported ones from Cebu, sakit sa ulo yan kasi putol sa kalahati, dalawang method ang pang chop nila, either chop the roof off by cutting the a,b and c pillars, or cut the car in half vertically alng the B-pillar. Tapos pag dinugtong nila lalagyan lang ng mga stiffener sa ilalim at sa bubong. Kaso lumulundo din yan eventually, and it will cost you hundreds of thousands to correct it if you plan to keep the car. Doable pero for the cost, not worth it.

Thanks for the replies, made in Sta. Rosa na pala so CKD na din?
OT question, compared to FD body civics i've heard some of these cars have quality issues like leak in shock absorbers etc. but yung unit is brand new. Which is better in terms of built quality, would it be the EK or FD? May SA kasi sa CASA nagsabi sa kin na mas less ang naging problems nila with the EK. I'm planning to get an FD kasi. TIA.
