Calling All Accord Owners

AFAIK there is no "overdrive" on our Accords, atleast on mine there isn't. We do have something similar or maybe it's the same thing ... it's called "TC lockup" where when you are going fast enough, the torque converter will lock (caused by one of the solenoids) and spin at the same speed as the engine, giving us a virtual 5th gear and saving on gas. So parang manual transmission sya.

Pareho lang yung PH22 sa F22, local version yung PH22.

My first Honda... First Accord.... First to be on mid-size sedan..... pretty cool sarap ng ride, kaso mukang may prob yung nakuha ko
natutuyuan ng tubig radiator and eventually nag ooverheat.. sana hindi cylinder head... magastos masyado any recomended shop to go to? need to have this fix asap. Thanks guys ('98 VTi-L accord)

pa coolant pressure test mo muna para ma verify kung alin ang cause ng problem, baka kasi leak lang ...

i don't have that much idea on our baby kasi i wasn't the one who bought it 2nd hand BUT yeah parang may nararamdaman akong 5th gear (sudden gear shifting feel) whenever i'm running more than 150kph on the highways. is that what you call the TC Lockup / overdrive?
how do we activate that feature and ano meaning nung TC, Traction Control?

ano RPM mo bro, kapag tumatakbo ka na steady cruising * 100 Kph?
yung sakin nasa 2.9K RPM, compare ko lang

ah torque converter hehehe! may switch ba para i-activate yun or wala na?
nako di ako natingin sa rpm eh pero kapag nagka pera uli, tignan ko rpm ko.
