Calling All Accord Owners

Hi Guys,

New accord owner here. I have a 5th gen 1997 accord. Is there any recommended shops around mandaluyong for engine and under chassis maintenance? btw what's the efficiency for ph20? mine is around 5km/l only is there a way to make this more efficient?

Hi Sir,

Yup, try mo sa CASA para sa line pressure test. Most likely ang singil is aroung 1,500. Tapos pag bagsak, sasabihin sayo na remanufacture yung A/T tranny which will cost you.......P65k. WOW!. Once you get the result at confirmed na tranny, try mo si Cris sa Jazz Auto Tranny Specialist sa #44 Kamias.

the only efficient way that i know when driving ours is by doing 80-100kph always. eh ang hirap i-achieve sa location namin nun dahil mild traffic dito lagi at delikado magmabilis dahil sa mga perwisyong mga motorcyclists which drives on your lane and not on theirs.
kapag lagi akong nagda-drive within 30-40kph around town, nagagalit si baby VTEC. nararamdaman ko through her reaction na paminsan bumabagal mag rev makina dahil lagi kang slow (matagal mag shift to 2nd gear (a/t)) magpa-andar tapos medyo naninigas pedal ng onti.
pero kapag pinindot mo na uli (medyo floor ng onti), nawawala galit ni baby VTEC...
i also happen to experience 5km/l paminsan worst pa. dun lang ako nagagalit sa makina nito, masyado malakas uminom. (pero masarap ihataw if given a chance)
i tend to get maybe around 8km/l or less kung highway naman. grabe nakakaiyak

ilan RPM nyo pag steady cruising steady at 100Kph?
Yung sakin on a PH22 A/T nasa 2.9K RPM

im 95 accord user, but i change my engine from exi to vtec. performance-good.

Mga Sir,

How much po ngayon ang timing belt, tensioner bearing, balancer belt at Water pump ng Accord PH20?

Balak ko po kasi bumili nun sa Honda tapos pakabit sa labas.

Ano po ang mas ok?

mga 1.3K ata yung belts, yung bearing, di ko alam yung orig pero yung japan replacement nasa mga 300 ata.

sama mo na din yung lahat ng oil seals at oring ng oil pump. if i remember, tatlong oil seal yung sakin.
