yup trailing arm is yung sa rear na mahabang bakal...
naku, dont put your car maintenance sa casa kung wala ka na sa waranty, sobrang taga diyan. if you want to get it cheap lang, yung sa HRC banawe, orig benta nila then may replacements din sila if namamahalan ka. yung 555 brand replacement yun, ok yun kasi ang bilis masira ng orig (in my experience). sulit pa kasi mas mura sa orig.
pakabit mo na lang motorcraft or m7 which ever is cheaper.

i agree with this. 555 brand is better than federal brand and other 3rd party replacements. Medyo mas mataas nga lang presyo ng konti vs the others. And medyo mahirap nga din hanapin minsan. Sa supplier ko dito sa cainta, madalas out of stock. Pero sulit paghahanap mo or pag-antay ng stock when you get one.

usually sa trailing arm both yung crack kagad. i would prefer to change both kahit ok pa yung isa kasi hindi na pantay yung wear and tear niya. baka after ilang months palit ka na naman.
HRC is near banawe corner e rod if your coming from q.ave banawe, straight lang. kung makita mo yung children's medical center lapit ka na. its to your right. if you reach corner ng e rod lagpas ka na.
heres their contact number 7120303. tanong muna bago punta... hehehe
good luck sir, its true na scare ang supply ng 555 pero sulit kung makakuha ka.

Ngayon lang ako napadpad sa Honda Talk ah. Well, anyway, sa TS, an SiR is one of the best cars realeased in the Philippines. Sleek, Fast and roomy (for 4 people) but then Maintenance would be ALMOST the same with the VTi version. Since it's DOHC, Timing belt would be expensive and you have and Idler bearing not like the SOHC engines. Another thing would be fuel consumption. Don't go to the VTEC range because it will drink gas like coke then burp on you like hell. Maintain at power band RPM's and you'll be fine. Also, reagarding the under chassis things, just bring it to someone like cruven or zee. They'll know what to do if you don't have the money to burn on replacements.
Also an advice would be, dress up the car nicely. Don't go too much on aesthetics as it makes the SiR ricey.Last edited by JCBalunsat; April 10th, 2008 at 08:25 AM.
Did some independent research and decided to go with the white pearl crystal.... para maiba naman. ...
