    look for your car's service connector and "short" it... then do the timing. then reset the ecu... that will do.

    I never knew this. Is this also applicable for our Accord?

    yes bro... you should...proper timing of our accord must be done that way... otherwise, you cannot get the proper timing.

    its located at the center console portion under the aircon switch.. you can access it better at the passenger side.. HTH

    dapat talaga short muna service connector make sure mag CEL saka adjust timing, kahit anong adjust kung di mo ginawa yung tamang procedure ibabalik din ng ecu yung dating timing ..after that reset mo ecu by removing the fuse or tangalin muna negative line sa battery for 5min saka test drive mo for 10 min.....

    after the timing, remove the bypass ("short") done in the service connector. then remove radio backup fuse for ecu reset..

    tinitingnan ko nang maigi yung problem ko. ito po yung napansin ko... medyo kulang ang pressure ng gasolina papasok sa engine sa tingin ko sira ang fuel pressure regulator parang palaging bukas. kasi pagchange gear ko bababa ang rpm sa 500 at pag-accelerate medyo matagal makaangat. ito ang ginawa ko, tinanggal ko ang vacuum hose yung nakaattach sa FPR at ayon parang sakto na yung gasolina bigay ng injector. ngayon pagchange gear ko nasa mga 700 lang baba ng rpm at pag-accelerate ko ok na ang response ng engine.
    ang FPR lang po ba ang problem nito o meron itong issue sa vacuum? btw, nacheck ko yung vacuum pagkatapos kung tanggalin ang hose sa FPR malakas naman po ang higop ng vacuum at idle.

    nakabalik na po ako sa shop at tiningnan ulit ang ignition timing ng car ko. at nong inadvance nila ang timing ng distributor yun may kaunting change pero nasa pinakadulo na ng distributor yung adjustment pero kulang pa rin. sinubukan naming tanggalan ang bolt at advance pa ulit ang timing ayon nakuha na ang tamang timing pero lagpas talaga ang settings sa butas ng distributor doon sa butas kung saan ilagay ang bolt. ang ginawa namin ay nilagyan namin ng bracket para makahawak sa distributor para hindi matanggal. ano po kaya ang tunay na problem nito? saan kaya ang di tama ang timing cam gears, pulley...? at nabasa ko sa net na kapag na-shaved daw yung block ang magreretard yung timing. pero hindi ko alam kung shaved ba ang block o hindi.
    note: ang timing ng cam gears ay malayo sa TDC at out of spec, hinabol lang namin to para makuha ang tamang respond ng engine. pinalitan namin ang fuel pump baka kulang sa pressure kaya may "purot" yung car.
