97 civic vti stock look vs converted sir look

hi,
need your inputs kung ano mas mganda for honda civic.. pareho silang 97 model pero yung isa stock and the other is converted into sir look.. price difference is at ><20k. mas mahal yung sir look. this would possibly be my first car and your feedback will be much appreciated.

Unless you care so much about the looks I would just save the P20K and get the stock look.

ill go for the stock 97, gamitin mo na lang yung extra money for future repairs or mods... pero if you like the SiR body, then better off getting the real deal, go for the 99-00 civic.

konti na lang naman ata price difference ng 96 and 99 body civic. kung gusto mo talaga hanap ka na lang ng tunay. yung 20k difference baka makakuha ka ng tunay na 99 civic nyan.

salamat po sa mga reply.. mahal na po b sa 250k yun sir look (sir na yung body kits, head and tail lights, mags & shift knob, kulang nlang interior tska engine..)? ung 99-00 kc mejo over the budget na..

ano po ba ang dapat tingnan in buying a 2nd hand car? pasensya na po sa madaming tanong, gusto ko lang po talaga makasiguro sa bibilhin ko..

^^ you mean a 97 with a SiR look for 250k? hmmm... vti or lxi? kung vti yan parang ok na yung price niya... pero kung kaya pa tawaran to 240k then panalo!

how much is the 99-00 LXi? around 270k-280k yata sa market ngayon... mas ok na eto na lang kunin mo rather than the 97, plus 2-3 years newer pa.

when i inspect a 2nd hand car... first of all is the body, kung orig paint pa then makinis. well maintained yun. another is the air filter... too dirty means walang alaga sa tune up change oil, too clean means pinalitan lang for the purpose of selling.

of course test drive the thing... vary in speeds para makita kung may problema sa engine noise, and unusual rpm behavior. make sure to drive in bumpy areas para marinig kung ok pa suspension. lastly, inspect the engine for leaks and if the owner has maintenance records.. be sure to look at what has been done to the car.

salamat sa reply sir archie. yes it is a vti, pero mukhang sagad na sya sa 250k.. very helpful insights.. i'll take note of them. baka tingnan ko ung oto dis wikend..
