true. to put in perspective malaki na din ang 70k na honda discount considering mainstream seller ang brv pero as consumers the more we can stretch our penny the better.

i vaguely remember in 1996 or so,
toyota was selling its outgoing corolla xe at a huge discount.
i and thousands others, fell in line.
but i quickly decided, "what the hades! i'll just hie over to nissan and get their sentra!"

    you're right!
    it was in 1997!
i got the newly-introduced besta in 1996 for the growing family, and i needed a more personal car for myself during workdays.
the besta salesperson dissuaded me from getting the L300, by claiming the besta had better passenger space, which proved right after actual comparisons.

    so...

    1.5 V CVT PHP 1,128,000.00
    1.5 S CVT PHP 988,000.00

^lugi pa din for an outgoing model

so ano na ground clearance nang new BRV?

The 2023 BR-V is larger than before. Along with that, Honda raised the body to give it more ground clearance, a must in this segment. Honda says they’ve given it a ‘more SUV-like' appearance and, judging by what we saw at PIMS, it’s not just marketing fluff. Of course, you shouldn’t expect all-wheel drive from this. After all, its competitors are all two-wheel drive.
    finally, height adjustment..

Of course, it still has seven seats, but the driver’s side (finally) has a height adjuster. Oh joy.
