In usual Metro Manila traffic, our old Jazz 1.3L AT averages only 8-9 km per liter. The City 1.5L AT did much better at 9-10 km/L.

On the highway, that Jazz 1.3L AT could do 14-15 km/L with maybe two people on board plus some luggage. If laden with 4-5 people plus stuff on the trunk, fuel efficiency suffers a bit. Also, that small engine needs be revved higher to cruise at speed compared to the City 1.5L. I remembered driving at NLEX with 4 adults and the car revving at nearly 3k rpm when cruising steadily at 100kmh. When cruising at 120kmh, the revs need be just below 4k rpm.

June 5th, 2020 12:56 PM #417Sa Mobilio 1.5 MT, Metro Manila na average mga 18Kph, nasa mga 10~11 Km/L.
Kung NLEX-SCTEX-TPLEX 4 passengers + full cargo na mga 90KpH, mga 19 Km/L umabot.

Our old City 1.5 AT is around the same in fuel efficiency. The tank would go around 300 km with a normal fill of 27-28L on city routes.
On a trip to Baguio from Paranaque in 2012, I was able to do 17 km/L. Wala pa TPLEX nun. At a cruising speed of 80-90 kmh on the highway, the 1.5L would be able to do 18-20 km/L.
