September 8th, 2017 10:35 PM #6921Hi guys. I'm in the market for a new car and might purchase before the month ends. I'm here to seek your expert opinions on whether to pick honda city vx+ or toyota altis 1.6v. Both are just a little over 1M, which is where I stand budget-wise. What do you think?

As an Altis and Civic owner, the Civic wins hands down.
Looks better, drives better, has more power with the same efficiency, better ergonomics, better specs (1.8E vs 1.6G), better execution of toys (1.8E vs 1.6V).
The City VX+ isn't a good buy for me either. I don't see the point spending over 1M for what is still a subcompact.

Same with Jut. I'd get myself a Civic 1.8E for that budget of yours. It strikes a very good balance in comfort, sportiness, and fuel efficiency. In the case of the City VX+, 1M is too much for a small car with a bunch of toys.
If not the Civic, I'd take a look at the Sylphy 1.8V for a comfortable ride or a Focus 1.5L Ecoboost for a sporty/zippy ride.
