    Seems like just a mild evolution of the FA/FD.

    In that case I'm not biting unless Honda scraps that space-wasting two-tiered dashboard, at least.

    Its closest competition is a laggard in terms of performance and design, so Honda has no incentive to further up the ante. This is unlike the case when the FD Civic is being conceptualized in the aftermath of the Civic ES. At that time, the Altis AE120 had the edge in terms of design.

    Just think of this as the same way Toyota "updated" the current Altis from the AE120.
