i'd stay away from a/t's if they're 10 yrs old already.

its cheap. 220K. go grab it if its a good unit. but as for me, i dont like meet halfways when buying a used car. i mean, where will i chase the owner if there's a prob with our transaction?

tnx mga bro sa reply. btw, may nag offer sa kuya ko na 97 model vti a/t 230k tapos last price daw nia 220k what do you think of the offer mura, suspicious etc. although d pa namin nakikita yung unit baka dalhin daw mamya ng owner sa may baywalk para makita namin.

oks lang naman kung titignan lang.. pero pag kukuhanin nyo na, mas magandang puntahan nyo sa bahay tapos magbayaran kayo sa bangko.

Wag kayo masyado mag-focus sa aesthetic, baka dinaan lang yan sa colored wax lang yan pati rubbing compound.

check the car for repairables at ano na yung mga maintenance na nagawa. test drive mo for kalampag (baka di pa napapalitan yung mga supports / shocks / bushings), smoothness of ride.


since AT check mo kung ok pa sa lahat ng mode (P, R, D, L, 2, 3, Overdrive-kung meron). check the AT fluid (dapat di amoy sunog, mejo sweet/sour ang smell ng fresh AT, pag dark brownish to black yung fluid, iwasan mo na)

Lastly (but most important, IMO), kung leaning towards getting the car na kayo. check the car's papers, manghingi kayo ng xerox or kung papapayag sya na check nyo muna sa TMG kung legit yung car.

220k is a bargain for the 97vti a/t.

hi guys, ngayon ko lang ulit nacheck itong thread na ito anyway update ko lang kayo 97 lancer "pizza pie" glxi limited edition A/T ang nabili namin last FEb. 22 kasi mas makinis sia and mas okey condition dun sa sinabi ko na 220k na vti.195k nga lang pala price nung lancer. thanks guys ulit sa mga reply.

oks! check mo yung tranny fluid ha.. pag di na pink/pula palitan mo na para sure. use only mitsubishi diamond ATF para sigurado.
