As a general rule,

Just feather the throttle. do not race the engine when accelerating, especially before turning it off.

Try to keep your RPM below 2000. I believe for our 5A/T Honda City this is almost 100km/hour na. Sweet spot speed is around 80-90kmh.

Where did I get this? From years of refining my driving a 1995 V6 Galant. When I applied the same driving style to my 1.3S A/T City, I got excellent mileage.

Sa mga City owners po dyan, I own a 1.5e and i would just like to ask what brand of liquids do you use/recommend for the car maintenance (engine oil, radiator coolant, etc.)

I also own a 1.5E. When I had my 10k PMS, casa used fully synthetic oil & for radiator top up, I use honda coolant mix - around 200pesos sa casa, pero matagal mo naman gamitin to. kung taga alabang area ka, I'd be happy to top up your reservoir for free. hehehe

Sa mga 1.5e owners of Honda City, smooth ba ang shifting ng gear nyo? ask ko lang sana, kasi sakin di smooth ang shifting ng gear, may problema na kaya ang gear ko?
