rarity is the reason....only 2 FD2R was shipped here..

a brand new sti hatch M/T cost around $AU67k

Sa Cebu.

Nag import ng original Mugen RR tapos nilipat lahat ng parts sa local FD.

Pati Civic FD2 Type R meron na rin.

^ correct me if im wrong...dahil ba RHD lang ang lumabas na FD2R/RR?..kaya instead of converting RHD to LHD..nilipat na lang sa locak FD yung orig kit ng RR?

still, basing from its exterior a mugen rr copy vs. a real mugen rr. hirap idistinguish which is which unless of course pinagusapan na ang performance & features.

langya, yaman naman ng may-ari niyan. went through all the hassles. sana tinurbo niya nalang yung FD niya and stuff like that.

Tip?? Buy an FD Civic, get an engine swap (good luck sourcing one), upgrade, then vola!!!

Seriously, that money can buy you something different.
