    Hi

Someone is selling me his 2002 Honda Civic VTI-S, 78,000 km Mileage 1.8 Automatic Transmission. Initial asking price was 450K

Of course i am going to ask for a lower price.

How much would be a good price for the said car.

    Thanks in advance

or if i have a 300k budget what would be a good 2nd hand car.

Try for 350k... that's about fair price. 400k is just okay, if there are absolutely no problems with the car.

At 300k, you have a lot of choices.... possibly the earliest VTI-S variants fall within that range, already. 2001 Altis models are all insanely overpriced, but you might find them there now.

The early Exalta Grandeurs and Lynx Ghias are also within that range, as well as the Lancer MX.

Bili ka lang ng one or two "Buy and Sell" magazines, check asking prices. Fair price is usually around the lowball asks (some guys' asking prices are ridiculous), but if you find a pristine car for more, it may be worth it.

    Good luck!

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

P340-400K would be the range for an '01 VTI-S in proper condition. It's a 1.6L with ABS, a/t tranny and airbag. At 450K, taga masyado yung price, my boss sold his (exact model) for 400K a few months back (low mileage, owner driven).

At 300K i'd probably look for a '00 small body Altis, Sentra Grandeur, or a 1999 to 2000 Civic and have extra change for the repairs and upgrades.

Yup, walang 1.8L engine offered ang Honda noong 2002...my brother has the exact 2002 VTI model, A/T, and 1.6L lang makina nya...mas mahal ng konti ang VTI-S sa VTI, going price is around 400- 450k nga
