The SiR was a high revving vehicle so it makes it seems fast pero mababa yung torque nya compared to the modern 1.8 of the FD.

we have tried this but with the 1.8v version m/t. the FD was bone stock and the sir only have I/H/E setup and light weight mags.

the SIR took it and thats not bad for a 2 generation gap car with relatively cheap upgrade.

In a straight line, a good launch and immediate vtec activation of SiR in an I/H/E set-up will definitely beat a bone stock FD 1.8v anytime. Engine's of the 2 are worlds apart. R-series engines were designed to provide a wide power band with capability for further fuel economy. B-series (vtec) were design to have two personalities, hence a regular cam and racing cam profile.
