I'm thinking of replacing the majority of my car's suspension because the noises are starting to get worrying.
I've had bad experiences with "suspension specialists" before. So this time I plan to buy the parts myself from an auto supply.
Problem is, i'm not 100% sure what the parts are called, and how much of each part i need, so i'm looking for guidance.

Here's what I know so far for the front end of the car (1997 honda civic vti automatic):

    - Upper Control Arm
    - Lower Control Arm
    - CV Joint
    - Axle boots
    - Tie Rod
    - Rack End
    - Stab Link
    - Coil Spring
    - Shock Absorber

Please, correct me if i'm wrong or missing something here.
If you can also tell me the rear suspension part names, please do!

    Thanks guys!

add mo pa yung shock mount, stabilizer bar bushing at engine supports

rack and pinion assembly / power steering minsan maingay din pag luma na or malaki na ang play / gap ng rack gear sa pinion gear

rack end as the word suggests.. connecting the rack gear to the tie rod. rack and pinion assembly is the steering gear itself...

tie rod < rack end < rack and pinion > rack end > tie rod

Ikaw ba ang gagawa? or gagawin ng mechanic sa house mo?

You can also do it the old fashioned way

Kalasin yung parts then dahin mo sa auto-supply ("boss, meron kayo nito?")

    i thought,
"old-fashioned way" meant bringing the car to banawe and...
    heh heh.

I didn't recommend that as he mentioned that he had a bad experience with a "specialist" before.

Pero when I was younger, we changed bushings and shocks of our cars on the 10th year
(I've read from SG, Thai and MY sites that they try to have theirs changed on the 5th year)

So basically, kalas then bring all the old parts you need sa trusted auto-supply and my favorite question... "meron kayo nito?"
