1.3 City or 1.8 Civic(Both Automatic)

Ask ko lang kung yung 2009 civic may bulutong paint, transmission problem at iba pa madaming problem ng civic?

Kasi gusto ko itsura ng civic. Hindi pa malayo sa price ng city. Pero nagdadalawang isip ako sa nababasa ko sa problem ng civic.

Tapos kamusta din ang fuel mileage?

Transmission problem not encountered yet. Bulutong Paint YES, but liveable.

Ano year model ng fd mo?

Kasi tataka ako bakit sa FD lang yang bulutong paint issue. Ano remedy ginawa mo sa paint?

Di ba both city and civic katas ng laguna pero bakit wala pa ako nababasa na bulutong paint sa city.

Never heard of that bulutong paint problem in TFD?

I have a 08Fd and so far no problems with the paint.

bulutong paint? hindi ko pa narinig iyan.

ang alam kong paint scandal iyong nag crop up 3 years ago when honda first released its FD line. basically ang nangyari ay nung initial batch ng release ng mga FD (isolated din ata sa mga naka night hawk black) a buyer had the misfortune of getting a unit w/c developed an unsightly reaction to bird droppings. mahabang diskusyon din nangyari nun dito. but i think it has already been addressed considering we also have a 3 year old FD w/ no paint problems. iyon nga lang iyong amin pearl white mica kaya hindi siguro na-apektohan o nasama sa batch na iyon

regarding the tranny problem query, so far i have yet to hear nor encounter any concerns in connection with the 8th gen civic's a/t tranny.

There was a famous case here in tsikot, about a poster who purchased a black '06 Civic (back in 2006). The paint defect eventually manifested itself but Honda Phil simply attributed the defective due to "bird poo".

no problem with the 2009 civic fd so far... smooth transmission yun matic ko... fuel consumption, averages 12-13km/l, mixed city and hi-way driving. rpm: 2k-4k. km/h 100-150... problema lang talaga casa, bagal ng service (PMS), palpak installation ng tints... otherwise, i love my FD!
