By 2:30 p.m., we were on our way back to Metro Manila. We refueled at the Petron gas station in Greenhills. We checked our distance traveled to calculate our mileage. For the 318.5-kilometer Manila-Subic-Manila run, the Honda Civic 1.8 A/T consumed 26.6 liters of Petron Xtra unleaded which can be translated to 11.97 kilometers to a liter.

August 19th, 2007 01:50 PM #3The Honda Civic registered a remarkable 26 kilometers to a liter of fuel mileage during the recent Petron Xtra Challenge run from Pagudpud to Allen, Samar and back to Bicolandia. Although the Civic was not an official entry for the fuel economy feat involving Honda Jazz and Honda City 1.3S, the new sedan ran the same route to test its fuel mileage.

The best mileage I had with my FD was 14km/L on pure highway driving, tapos during the break-in period pa yun, sobrang alalay lang ang tapak ko sa gas.;)
