September 18th, 2009 03:18 PM #21our crv's done!
replaced 4 shock absorbers with paraut. the ride is softer than the original honda shocks; a bit wobbly for my liking to be honest buh the fam likes it so no worries.
fixed at rapide despite its reputation and so far seems like a job well done.

Bring your car to the shops that were mentioned on this thread and have it checked ASAP. I hope nabasa mo yung previous post ko. Bring it to zee or cruven. I read somewhere in this forum merong brand na F1 aside from paraut. Research mo na lang. Ala pang KYB for crv 2003 eh next year pa raw as per distributor here in Manila. So far ok naman pinakabit ko na paraut. I would not spend that amount of money for the OEM shocks. Have it fixed asap bago pa masira springs mo and other parts.
Keep us posted. ^^

November 14th, 2009 08:02 PM #25i just want to inform u guys going to ZEE. I've been here today and have my CRV 2003 front shock replaced by paraut brand by ZEE Carplus. I was so disappointed that I've spent 11K and ended up putting by old shock back. I've been there 730 am, had an appointment a day before to have my paraut shock ready coz i want to save time today. My problem is that they put a paraut shock of different height.... imagine having noticed it by 2PM while i was having my car for wheel alignment. I go back to ZEE for them to check coz they thought i was making a false accusation on what they did... So disappointing coz it break my shock rubber assembly too...
I just want to inform everybody going there to check their cars before leaving coz it's kinda low quality on service and you might end up like me... wasting time on a saturday... sad to say it's pacquiao's day tomorrow so i wont be able to have it fix again... I'll be half-day on monday for their peoples stupidity. The manager give-in to my request to pay all expenses incurred but i'm very disapointed that i need to shell out some bucks because of his incompetent people...
There guys.. be vigilant on the services you get from ZEE..

November 15th, 2009 12:11 AM #27guys share ko lang story about my crv's suspension problem just recently. naging matagtag din car ko kapag tumatakbo. pinagawa ko sa honda kalookan pinalitan ung show absorber ko left and right kasi parehas na yun matagtag, pinalitan yun ng buong set it cost 8112.++ each tpos may discount pa sa labor, parts, materials use i forgot how many percent yung discount.
now my car is in good shape runs smoothly. wala naman ako naging problema sa honda kalookan kasi doon ako regular na nagpapa repair ng car...

December 28th, 2009 09:13 PM #28Hi Guys,
I had similar problems (matagtag at medyo may kalampag na) with my CRV 2003 last year, December 2008 ... i requested Honda Makati to quote for the repair - I think they listed down every part under the car - shocks, stabilizer. etc. which cost around 60k+
I went to GOMAGS in Paranaque, and they quoted me for around 23k for the same parts that Honda quoted ... i ended up having my CRV repaired at GOMAGS ... the shocks they used were F1 brand ... the ride was good for several months, but after around 8 months, start na naman yung problema ... this morning I had my CRV check up at Honda Makati for regular maintenance and have them checked the suspension again ... sira na naman daw mga shocks, stabilizer, exhaust flapper, etc .
I'll try to get a second opinion again outside, but i'm shying away from GOMAGS and those F1 shock absorbers.
Any suggestions ... from what I'm reading, Piraut's are good alternatives - meron pa bang iba na priced a little bit lower than what Honda is charging ... and what shop is recommended if Rapide is not ... mukhang ok na yata yung Zee except for the bad comment on one of the posts.
TIA

August 25th, 2010 03:49 PM #30* RC-V Were those parts exactly OEM for the 10seater version? How much would it cost kaya for the OEM 4x4 gen2?...Mine is also 8years in service na mapaghandaan na din yan.
Choice I would have made as well.
