to you folks who have been victimized by Ondoy.
I am a victim of 2 floodings. 1 is Frank in Iloilo, a year later it was Ondoy in MM.
Sa iloilo, there was already a functioning flood control project. though it was not tested to the likes of Frank, I hoped that this time it will be working.

Just wondering... who in the world approved the building of Circulo Verde? why would anybody approve building something in the middle of a waterway...

and when things like this happen who do you think will benefit the most...tayo din mamamayan dito sa atin bansa...a never-ending ubiquitous cycle of problems and solutions besetting our country ever since,,,

how...when floodings occured, what is always the cause? lot of trash clogged into our canals and drainage system...the culprit, tayo din (or other mindless people) mamamayan dito sa atin bansa,,,coz of mindless throwing of garbage everywhere...self-discipline stinks specially for the squatter population,,,

remedy...unclogged the trashes, clean the canal and drainage system...who will do it? eh di naturalmente tayo pa din mamamayan dito sa atin bansa...yun nga lang may bayad na kasi employed na ng national or local gov't agencies kukuha ng workers for the clean-up drive,,,

and the cycle continuous until WE the people here in our country don't learn from our own mistakes, the one WE make...for those people who have a never-mind attitude and come-what-may behaviour...wala talaga mangyayari dito sa atin bansa...

I was amazed of this modern day situation, sabi ng tatay ko di naman bahain yung ibang lugar diyan sa Manila NOON. pero NGAYON tipong ambon at kakaunting ulan lang e nagiging parang sapa o lawa na yung mga kalsada. gayal sa araneta, grabe nakakapanibago, binabaha na pala yun.
