    The police should have been called that night.. so that they could see for themselves that they were drunk. They could be arrested for DUI and possibly hit and run, since they left the scene like that.

    Please be kind enough to at least post updates on what has happened as an act of courtesy to Fireblade, who has put a lot of effort to provide you with the details of the erring motorist. While his connections may be extensive, it is still no mean feat to do what he does for a total stranger, let us not make him feel that the help he has so very graciously extended has been for naught.
