April 17th, 2010 11:43 PM #22most of the time, pag may traffic enforcer, lalong traffic. sa sucat interchange, pag traffic, 100% may nagdirect ng traffic sa intersection. for all I know, nde sila dumaan kahit sa simpleng traffic management seminar. IMHO, total waste of time ang mga TE na yan. Dami pang dinadamay!!!

Im confused all the time about this set up. When I was in Bacolod last Maskara Festival, there was this intersection along Ramos-Lacson St., and theres a traffic light plus two enforcers manning the flow of traffic, not to mention some Tanods. The light went green, the enforcer in the middle signals me to stop. So I stopped. The other enforcer who was on the other side of the street signals me go ahead and keeps blowing his whistle. When I move forward the one who signals me to stop points his finger at me. I opened my vehicles window and give them a piece of my mind. Adding to the cacophony of vehicle horns were the megaphone from the Tanods giving directions. Hayyy nakalilito.

Actually you can count on both hands all the traffic lights that work in bacolod. Kahit po walang festival magulo.
IMHO we should follow the TE if he takes over traffic control. Yun nga lang, to avoid accidents responsibilidad pa rin natin to look out for ourselves. I do have great respect for SOME te's but they can & will make mistakes also.

yes paps, follow the TE pag-umeksensa na sila sa gitna.. & follow them w/ caution na lang especially if they didn't turn-off or switch to blinking YELLOW/RED yung traffic light. PLUS, listen to FM105.1 or FM106.7 para relax & cool driving na lang . ganyan talaga dito sa atin.. we need to live w/ it. ako, i appreciate yung mga security-traffic enforcers dito sa The Fort (security guards kasi ang nagma-man). either they control yung traffic light themselves or switching to blinking YELLOW bago sila umepal sa gitna. kaya smooth yung flow ng traffic.

Kung ano po ang nasa puso nyo eh sundin nyo. Or better yet, attend a driving seminar or ask the officials regarding to the subject.
*topic, sinusunod ko yung authorized enforcer kasi bilang driver mapapansin mo naman at makikita ang dahilan unless nagbubulag bulagan yung driver.
Thank you.

April 21st, 2010 05:49 PM #29sa cavite ma bwisit ka sa systemang ganito.
doon ito sa may molino patawid ng sm.
putik 15 minutes kang mag aantay ng go at 15 minutes kayong go.
ang hirap sa ganito eh naiipon ng todo yung mga sasakyan.
kapag wala mga TE parang di ko na experience yung ganong klaseng traffic dahil sa stop light pero kapag naki alam na TE nyemas mapipikon ka sa tagal.
