yep. makati and bicutan are the only ones owned by Toyota Motors Philippines.
And the other dealers in the metro area are.....
manila bay, cubao, dasmarinas cavite, are owned by the metrobank group (which happens to 50% or so of Toyota Philippines)
otis, north balintawak, balintawak - another group (the owners are NOT related or affliated with Toyota Philippines)
commonwealth and quezon ave. - another group (the owners are NOT related or affliated with Toyota Philippines)
shaw and ortigas - another group (the owners are NOT related or affliated with Toyota Philippines)
Pasong Tamo - another group - reportedly a former general (the owners are NOT related or affliated with Toyota Philippines)
about Alabang. not sure who owns or whether it is affiliated with other dealers.

February 7th, 2007 11:40 PM #35Guys, don't believe that your pride and joy is in good hands when you bring it to the dealer (I'm not saying all car dealerships are like this) I work for a trading company and we have several car dealerships as customers, they would fax us price inquiries for items like oil, air, fuel filters and other parts. These items we would then order from importers or order them directly from overseas suppliers. We always quote them prices of original , oem, and taiwan made prices, in some instances they will order the taiwan made items from us! I would expect small garages or gasoline station mechanics to order them but not reputable car dealerships... Always ask for the old parts and packaging of the new parts (even that is not a guaranty!).

April 30th, 2007 12:49 PM #40The thing is management is part of this hehehehe
I think the more parts mabenta ng mechanic the more they earned.
Besides salary, may comission sila.
Kaya ingat sa CASA.
Oh and marami din silang tauhan na mga OJT. Pinagsuot lang ng overalls mukha ng mga PRO. Try asking them questions youll see
Automatic po Sir
