IMO its the fault of the civic.....

considering the driver of the monty is an elderly(the one who's writing on the hood) who can be expected as a very cautious driver considering again his age plus his Brand new car.... and for the Civic's driver naman(guy with sunglasses hangin in his head) whom I think has his muffler shouting 1000hp but in fact he has only 100....I can probably say his a type of driver that drives around tight streets bombarding his gas pedal.... And basing from the pic I could speculate that the driver of the monty already thinks that the civic would let him pass considering that his in the middle of the road already but not knowing the civic is not paying attention on the road. resulting to that stupid accident!


And muka naman talaga takaw aksidente yung driver ng civic na yan...look at his rear left tail light....may tama na....may pagka barumbado siguro talagang magmaneho....

same incident din dati nangyari sakin, I was cruising marcos highway at 4th gear then suddenly there was this mitsu GSR boxtype bigla lumabas ng gasoline stations w/out looking around,muntik ko na syang mabangga what happened was... ninipisan ko nalang sya! Im in 4th gear kasi medyo matulin,tapos after nun sya pa galit. jejeje

right way or not, the civic driver's fault was not having the courtesy to consider giving way to the montero that was on his way. . .how could a press on the brakes pedal at that time considerably delay his travel?as for the driver of the monty, his fault was was not looking to the right if that was the case. . .or, maybe he did but went ahead, anyway, thus committing the same fault as the driver of the civic

a good principle we motorists should always remember when in the streets: some rights are worth dying for. the right of way is not one of them


on some of the posts in this thread, let's avoid generalizing people. . .we cannot tell the people and their characters in this accident just by looking at the picture. . .

problema sa ganyan palakihan ng ulo mga driver in such situations. dami ko na nakita na barumbado talaga magdrive parang ambulance yun dala nila. sana buong pilipinas parang subic. disiplinado lahat ng motorista.

Indeed the most common cause of traffic accidents is the insistence of enforcing one's right of way. This attitude is actually contrary to the more practical approach of defensive driving.

Isa pa, kung darating sa korte yan may contributory negligence din yung Civic driver at maari pa syang matalo dahil sya ay may better view at possibly "last clear chance" to avoid the accident.

Kaya land dito sa pinas, hindi practical dumating pa sa demandahan yan dahil malamang covered naman ng insurance at maliit lang ang damyos.

mahirap mag base sa pic ni TS... no offense TS pero sometimes maraming other factors...

like sa sinabi ni khazpert, biglang nag merge from gas station to highway... pwede rin kasing blind spot yung nilabasan ng MS... or kung naka incline syempre me konting bwelo...

lesson learned nalang... Tingin tingin bago lumabas, at kahit pa nasa right of way, kung malaking disgrasya naman wag na ipilit...
