March 20th, 2012 02:42 AM #34its only "animal rights" when dogs, cats and other cute mammals are concerned, I am a fish and reptile person and my pets wont get the same sympathy when abused...I mean if a cat is beaten to a pulp by some lunatic and the event gets posted on the net, thousands.....millions all over facebook and twitter will flock and all of them will share how pitiful is the cat and how evil is the perpetrator....If you are a real animal lover, you'd be vegan and refrain from consuming any products that requires the death of a particular animal... may it be dog, cow, or centipede...like some Buddhist monks ive seen on national geographic
