pasensya ka na pero it really makes the car look great eh hehehe

Me too are using plate cover but CLEAR. Swerte lang at more than a year ko ng gamit hindi naman ako nasisita. Maybe, mas clear syang mabasa ngayon than before wala pang cover.

    aesthetics wise... maybe.
    performance wise?... maybe not.

i do have a glass plate cover... yung lexan pa, green...
nung nalaman ko na bawal pala. I placed it under the plates.
ayun... mas makapal na plates ko, no "tupi" at clear view pa.

    try nyo.

Like I said it's "only" 100 Pesos pero it adds up given the number of AUV/SUV vehicles.

And what if it is part of your vehicle?
Haven't really seen a vehicle with the roof rack being part of it. Baka you mean roof rails yong part talaga(i.e. tow hook, spare tire carrier), which don't need to be registered. Roofracks/roof baskets like the ones made by Thule, etc. are the ones which need to be registered.

Bigla nya sinabi na "Sige sir dahil mabait kayo kausap babaan ko na lang ung fine nyo, gagawin ko na lang na 1500" exact words nya yan. Imagine hindi naman kami nakikipag burgain, nag change na sya ng price.
Paying up to avoid the hassle, but not offering a bribe doesn't make it right, doesn't make you innocent. It's still bribing in my book. I think you are part of the problem. Regardless sa reasons mo..

I am confused...how was that again? How did you insist on doing it the proper way?

I would be ashamed to ask this question if i were you, especially if i just 'bribed' an enforcer P500 just to get my license back.

hitting your plate by a pedestrian will not cause much damage that simple pliers cannot fix..
You must be the lucky one, you got the 'lemon' license plate.

Where is that document again where the government says that? A scanned copy like what M2 posted, or a quote would be enough...

Yes we do, i would suggest for you to re-read that, there's a quote from a government officer from there somewhere on the use of plate covers.

There you go! You got the partial answer to your question "Ganito na ba talaga sa bansa natin ngayon?"

Marami nang nag-try mag-contest ng violation nila (MMDA and MAPSA). Na-feature na yan sa mga investigative shows, and if I'm not mistaken, meron ding thread dito sa tsikot. Sa ibang forums, hondaclub, may mga nagreklamo na rin. May mga na-suspend na at na-dismiss because they filed a complaint.

Kaya dumarami yung mga bwitreng yan, kasi sinusuhulan pa rin natin. If we bribe them (kahit sila ang naunang mag-suggest na bayaran na lang sila), then we become part of the problem, and not the solution.
    +1, Amen to that!
