Sm Advantage Card-advantageous ?

It's normal for management to deny a customer's request when it will result into their losses. As far as I've been told by a manager of one branch, Petron is the one who pays SM to have this SM Advantage in their gasoline stations (you may as one if you want as well).

Let's just say it's their way of inviting more customers. The more na makaalam na their SM Advantage Card can be used on Petron gas stations, the more na magpeprefer ang customers na may SM Advantage na sa kanila magpa-gas.

Bottomline, they pay for something that would attract customers. Same with the BPI Petron Card. They have to pay to BPI for that service.

Personally, I never see SM Advantage as a disadvantage. Our trucks normally load up at Petron just for the sake of gaining points. And it saves me a lot, especially when it comes to buying gifts for my "pamangkin" and at times, my own groceries. Just my.02

Ako i'm waiting na umabot ng P1,000 petot ang laman ng advantage ko para mapalitan ng Prestige Card. Daming perks kasi ng prestige like privileges in parking, dedicated counter sa grocery, discounts sa sm department store, jollibee tie-ups etc.

Bro.,- I am a prestige card holder,- ano ba iyang privilege in parking?

May discount ba kung holder ka ng card na ito? P40 kasi ang cost sa parking building ng MoA....

bakit sabi mo you paid the annual dues for the sm advantage card? what annual dues, free yun a?

wifey is a prestige card holder for siguro more than 2 years na. may taga-buhat siya ng shopping bags nya kung gusto nya, dami na din nya nakuha na items for free. di ko alam ano pa ibang privelages. for something that is free i don't think you can complain.

also, petron has a point naman about honoring only 1 card. why should they credit you points for 2 cards if you only bought once. unless you'll agree to halve the points, 50% for each card.

Hehehe,- matagal nang may ganyang privilege si wifey ko.... Ako ang taga buhat.......

My wife is an SM Advantage Prestige cardholder, and the biggest perk I've seen her enjoy is having an exclusive, members-only giftwrapping counter for her presents during the Christmas rush. Sobrang convenient.

Ito, na-enjoy namin pag Christmas... Ang haba ng pila sa regular na gift wrapping counter,- pero sa prestige card holder,- 1 or 2 lang kayo.... Binabalot din nila kahit small items lang.....

Isa pang magandang privilege ay iyong dedicated grocery counter/s for holders of this card and senior citizens.... Panay nga lang ang reklamo ko sa Hypermart Management sa MoA dahil ang lane ng counter na ito ay ginagamit(actually ay dinadaanan lang) din nila for customers with small puchases using a different checkout cash register POS.... Medyo magulo.....

Ano kaya iyong sinasabi na parking privilege... Interesado ako rito dahil P40 ang cost sa parking building ng MoA......

yung parking privilege ata parang reserve slots sa parking. di sya discounted...nakita ko yan sa megamall, not sure kung meron sa moa.

yup, have used the free gift wrapping last christmas season. di pa ako nag avail ng taga buhat ng shopping bag. haven't used the lounge in makati either but i've seen it, maganda ang lounge area.

alam ko reserved parking slots lang, but you still pay the same parking fees. meron sa MOA when i was there last month. nakita ko ang sign nung pauwi na kami.

SM Prestige din ang hawak ko.

btw, yung sa petron-SMAC tie up, maliit lang ang points nila for card members; they only give .5 points depending on the number of liters or the total amount you purchased from them.

same with hypermart purchases. my friend who works with hypermart said it's because of the smaller profit margin they get from grocery items, compared to the sm department stores.

dito nga sa metro manila, sm southmall lang ata ang may libreng open parking. tapos yung sa moa and megamall ang mahal pa ng parking fee, 40 petot. samantalang sa sm centerpoint, manila and san lazaro, 25 petot lang. bakit kaya iba pa rates sa moa and mega?

The fine print will usually say one promo per transaction only. Kahit sa mga resto promos ganun. Tama si yebo, you can just break it into two transactions if you want to use both.
