Eh 5 taon na pala nilang alam na may problema dun eh; then why the hell did they have to wait to come to this point???
Pump where? I've lived by the highway for over twenty years... the parts that get flooded are already five feet or more higher than the ground around them. If there's no place for the water to go, that's it. If the PNCC are to pump all this water, they'll need to construct huge drainpipes... hell, they'll need to dig out at least a dozen canals covering dozens of kilometers around and UNDER all the private land between them and Laguna de Bay. It's impossible to drain that water. The most they could do would be to raise the entire highway (like in areas on the NLEX), which at this point, would be impossible without destroying and remaking the bridges which link some of the barangays on opposite sides of the highway.

The problem with the flooding is that parts of the highway after Alabang are in the valley below the foothills of Cavite. When it rains hard there, those of us who live in the area have no choice but to cross ourselves and pray that the water doesn't get too deep. If the rains are too hard, they open the floodgates in Cavite to keep them from collapsing, causing instant floods in the Laguna area.

The night of the flood, we stayed up till five a.m., with our cars parked on high ground, waiting for the river to overflow its banks. We'd just constructed new viaducts and canals a few years ago in our compound. The water wasn't as high as in the big flood of a few years ago, but it still got in, and if the river overflowed, where would we pump it out to?

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Advise naman jan on how to clean my flooring from baha. Pag pinabayaan ko to baka mangamoy sa loob. Do i need to bring this to a shop for degreasing ng bearings, etc? baka kasi kalawangin or what.
Take it to any upholstery shop, sandali lang tanggalin ang carpet, lalabhan na rin nila and papatuyo, that's why it takes 2 days. Anyway, uwede mo pa naman gamitin kahit walang carpet.

Ang sakin lang, kung medyo alanganin na, huwag na lang lulusong sa baha yung kotse, if it's still possible, look for a hotel or a friend's place that's located on higher ground, then doon ka na lang mag overnight, kasi kung nalublob yung sasakyan natin, mas mahal pa ang gagastusin natin kesa sa kung nagcheck-in ka na lang. Just my two cents.
