I met this guy once when he bought something from me. He was quite easy to talk to and wouldn't seem to do such anomalous stuff. Well, looks are deceptive sometimes.

You guys can try consulting the people at mymitsuph.com. Kewlryds also posts there, and maybe some of the members already encountered him personally.

For now, here's the moral of the story. NEVER ISSUE PRE-PAYMENTS INVOLVING HUGE AMOUNTS. I for one do not believe in such a deal. Whenever I have something done to my car, I only pay after the job and if I'm satisfied already. If the pre-payment involves purchasing some parts, buy the parts yourselves. Even if it costs more that way, at least you get to hold the items you paid for and not risk losing any money.

Yup, a job supplier should always be able to provide goods before payment. With the exception of some industries where madaling takbuhan yung provider (intellectual properties like programming, art, music, etc.), DP should not be required.
