right turn on red signal?

ang red signal light ba na pinaguusapan dito e yung separate red signal light for right turning vehicles? understood yun, pag may red signal light then it's "no right turn on red". ganun din pag may left turn signal light, "no left turn on red". pag walang red signal light, whether right turn or left turn then that means "yield", or go when clear and stop when there is oncoming traffic. also, and this you should remember, on "yield" the other traffic (coming from the left when turning right or coming from in front when turning left) has always the right of way and you don't.

nagugulohan din ako kasi wlang nkasulat eh.. eh kpag di nman tayo ng left/rigt turn blocking na eh.. syempre kpag may traffic light na left / right turn mag antay nlang kung go.. basta ako pag wlang post na sulat tapos pinara ako makikipag away ako sa traffic enforcer

unless im very much mistaken, international rule of the road naman yung turn right (or left for RHD countries) on red with care, and yield to other cars with the right of way.

unless may sign na no right turn on red.

Not including British roads, I'm afraid. When the signal is red you have to stop.

A couple of years ago, I was making a right turn going to roxas blvd from world trade center. I was just following the taxi that made a right turn on a red light which I know was legal coz' there were no sign prohibiting it and also it wasn't a red arrow light it was a solid red light.
I was apprehended by a bike cop. I told him that there was no sign and so and the taxi did it earlier. He said "You can't make a right or left turn to a national road when the lights is red. Well the cop let me go then I asked my uncle he said the same thing. I thought to myself, where in the world do you see that in the philippine driving rules???? I mean is there any?? Can anyone clarify this rule? I know in some states in the U.S. that will allow a right turn on red light (except if the the red light is an arrow not a solid red light) others don't, you have to stop until the light goes green, then make the turn.

When in doubt, wait na lang ako ng green light. Wouldn't want to give "enforcers" a reason pa para "manghuli".

3) one way going the other way yung kalyeng papasukin mo (obviously, hehe)
