If this problem has been going on for 10+ years, that sounds like a problem not of the 'government' anymore but of the people. Have the people been powerless or uninterested to get the problem fixed. Has no one challenged their fine in 10+ years. Complained to the media or authorities? No one in the media written about the issue?

I guess we deserve the government we get.

Long time ago hindi pa uso bayaran sa Metrobank my experience din ako dyan.

Although my sign nga pero nag kamali rin ako dyan (It's my mistake), I feel na very slight lang naman yung swerving kalahati ng road yung position ng car pero talas ng mata ng MMDA , hinuli ako, tanong ko penalty sabi nya mahal daw penalty 500 pesos daw sus! dina na ako tumawad nag pa ticket na lang ako, nung tinutubos ko na ticket ko "Langya yung palang office ng MMDA parang Lto rin merong ding mga fixers, Since I tried to avoid the fixers nakalabas ako ng office nila at around 3:00pm. Until now marami parin pala confused sa lugar. Guys! Better slowdown na lang while approaching the flyover anyway hindi sila nanghuhuli if you are running at 40 to 60kph.

By the way even the cashier hindi na sinoli yung sukli ko la na raw barya...

ah hndi pa ako nahuli dyan. Pero nangyari na un nagkamali ako ng flyover. imbis na makaabot ako ng SLEX, pumuwesto ako sa left lanes--- yun pala papuntang Roxas/Baclaran un! so, also not familiar with that place, dinulo ko nalng hanggang Roxas and then Quirino... dulo ulit.. hanggang Osmena hiway and finally --- SLEX.

but ngayon, i regularly use those EDSA on-ramps to go to SLEX or back to manila so hndi na ako nalilito. i just feel sad for our fellow motorists and the country.

i agree! tama ka dyan! thats why i posted this thread. i believe there is hope if there is sincere citizen's action. I am a Manileno and once complained about the Buhayin and Maynila program and sent an email directly to Mr. Atienza. In a few days time, I got a lengthy reply from his office:thumbup: I dont know if its mere coincidence, but my comments/suggestions were answered kasi inaksyunan tlga nila.

I have high regard for Chairman Bayani Fernando so it saddens me to think of the possibiity of MMDA officers taking advantage of this.

Let's do something before the problem gets worse! i just read from today's phil inquirer (AAP Phils Ad): Better Roads, Better RIdes, Better Lives. Report Road Hazards Immediately! THINK BEFORE YOU DRIVE.
www.thinkbeforeyoudrive.com
here's the newspaper clipping:

Also, I know Motoring Today does a public service segment right? As for the MMDA website, I dont know how to post feedbacks/comments.

So there, I'l be out of the country for some time and leaving very soon. I hope that concerned motorists will take action ONCE AND FOR ALL. We never know, our collective voice might be heard or maybe we can at least soften the hearts of our corrupt officials...

I don't think so. IIRC, there have long been repeated complaints in the Inquirer newspaper (this is the one I read daily) regarding this matter.
