You might consider going taking the longer alternate route passing through Rizal. A lot farther away but after seeing the traffic in SLEX it might be a better option.

Or just rent a place in Manila until 2010. Parusa talaga masyado ang SLEX ngayon. Sa North muna kami namamasyal.

Oh but wait, there is something much worse pala!! TRAFFIC DIN SA SKYWAY building up about 1km away from Bicutan skyway exit!! *#%*$!!!!

(actually, i'm just surprised to see 2 "NO" votes on the poll...probably people who haven't traveled south yet? or employees of SLEX group?)

Hate these incidents... same sentiments pag nagpacarwash ka sabay paglabas mo biglang buhos ng ulan Para kang ninakawan ng pera e.

ano kaya magagawa para ma force sila na i-reduce to 50% (or to a reasonable amount) yung toll fee from alabang to bicutan (where the problem areas are). sobrang parusa na sa motorista yung construction, it was poorly planned. hindi naman tama na tayong mga nagbabayad pa ang magdusa sa kapalpakan nila, di ba?
(sadly)

Parang Maynilad lang yan Sir with what they did in the roads with their pipelaying projects in Manila.

They should be the ones to control these areas and if they are able to do this I guess traffic will move faster better than the highway becoming a virtual parking lot.
Eto I think naimplement na kahit paano. May mobile na nakaparada just before Bicutan exit sa Skyway pati sa SLEX. Yung mga sumisingit sa papuntang Sucat to Calamba through the Bicutan Exit lanes hinaharang na. Saw one bus na kinakausap nung naka-mobile one time.

Is there such a route? From Rizal to South? Would love to study that...

hmm... ultra long way from rizal to south since iikutin mo ang Laguna de Bay. ok sya if you're going to bicol, quezon, or the eastern half of laguna (nagcarlan, paete, etc...).

december 2010?!?? wow! Ine-expect ko na matagal pa itong perwisyo na to pero now knowing it for sure, I just feel bad (and upset). Now, I strongly believe they SHOULD lower the toll fee... it it just so unfair to pay to be inconvenienced for such a long time.

For all we know, baka pag natapos pa yung construction itataas pa nila toll e

:crying:

hehehe... pero joking aside dapat babaan nila... their doing an injustice... they collect fee to maintain the road... e in this case they are not maintaining the road... i heard some congressman (pque ata) are calling for abolition or reduction of toll fees... pero di natin masasabi kung me pangil sila...
