May 19th, 2006 08:01 AM #22well, the developers hav invested billions developing it, maybe they should protect their investment by constructing over/underpasses. corpses on the street d no good to Eastwood city's image
i don't think putting traffic officers to manage traffic/pedestrians is a complete solution; gaya nung intersection ng Exchange road - San Miguel. beyond 7pm, pedestrians are on their own trying to cross that intersection. even kung umulan lang ng malakas for a short time, naghahanap na ng masisilungan ung mga traffic enforcers. what more sa call centers/BPOs sa 24x7?

May 19th, 2006 10:42 AM #23Yung dalawang namatay na babae, umaga nangyari. Tumawid yata infront of a stopped vehicle kaya hindi nakita nung nakabangga. Usual accident scenario. Blindsided yung driver. I know this because my wife works in the area. Rumors has it (rumors lang ha?)that ayaw daw ng mga establishments in the area kasi masisira nga daw yung facade ng buildings nila. What a crap! Insensitive and inhuman morons kung totoo man ito. cguro nga kase ang tagal tagal na nito. Baka magbago ihip ng hangin kung sila ang mabangga pero i doubt kasi lagi namang naka ride ang mga geniuses na 'to!

Actually from our office yung dalawang na accidente dyan kawawa talaga
kasi taga probinsya pa yun, dapat talaga diyan overpass, di kasi talaga
maiiwasan mag mabilis kasi highway, dapat gawan na ng overpass sa harap
ng citibank or gerry's grill libis especially, kasi bulk of the passengers pass
there to get to the office or get a ride.

agree ako sa tapat ng gerry's but not in front of eastwood mismo, traffic galore yan, ingress/egress ng traffic eh.
Most Pinoys should learn to walk 2-3 blocks from overpasses btw and not be so lazy.

siguro gusto nila marami pang ma-accidente bago gawan ng overpass, I usually pass
from BDO libis papuntang gerry's, dun kasi ako nag papark malapit sa gerry's, saktong
sakto yung forum title. Patintero sa Libis!
OT : this is one of the problems of our government, instead of giving support and help for the income generating people, the TAX PAYERS.. they focus on the less fortunate, they give them free housing, food and medicine , that's where mendicancy come's in, why will I work if I can get it from the government for free. this government is full of B.S.
just venting out. taas kasi ng tax na binabayad ko.
the triumph of man over... man!, using the crudest of implements (by modern standards).
