Based on the cctv, mabilis siguro talaga ang taxi kaya nabangga ang SUV.

January 5th, 2013 12:10 AM #34the taxi has the right of way because he is already on the lane, and a main one at that. the suv is trying to get into the lane. that means he does not have right of way. he has to wait for the other motorist to give him the privilege to merge.
these are the facts. everything else is opinion.
it will take a very good lawyer for the suv to argue his way out of this.

When you are merging onto a major road, you have the absolute responsibility to make sure you are in the clear. The SUV driver not only did not check to make sure the way was clear, he also proceeded to swerve across the lane divider upon entry. Both are violations. Through traffic ALWAYS has the right of way, except at a yield sign, a blinking yellow or a red light.
But from the video, it would seem both are at fault. The taxi's rate of speed, from the video, seemed to be at least around 90-100 km/h. If a frame-by-frame analysis shows that he was only going 60-80, though, then the blame shifts back completely to the SUV driver.

ano ba turo pag ma u-uturn ka or change lane? di ba make sure its clear bago ka pumasok? did the SUV did that before the uturn? did the suv did that before he changed lane to the middle lane?

pero when I watch it again, I try comparing the speed of the SUV to other vehicle sa kabilang kalsada then using a stopwatch time both of them and measure the distance travel using the lines on the road. By doing this you'll have an estimate how fast they are... medyo mabilis din pala ang pagkakaliko ng SUV kaya mahirap ding sisihin yung taxi na sumalpok sya.
para sakin parehas sila pero more on SUV yung may kasalanan

He have an AU license and ganito ang etiquette sa kanila -- the correct way of merging or swerving to another lane is you should NOT cause the driver of approaching vehicle to step on its brake. Parang discourtesy pa sayo that you caused the approaching vehicle to slow down just because you're merging or swerving.
If this scenario happened in Australia, yung SUV ang may kasalanan.
Varta used as replacement battery in German cars ... but they cost double that of Motolite ... not...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
