it is even worst. it's all about degree angle aiming. and fog lights have little angle to give... kasi mababa na siya in the first place, so the angle is not deep enough. and halogen fog lights are for fogs, so sabog yung throw nila for the mist and smoke.
take notice of these rides with both HID on head and fogs,
(not much glare because the surrounding has still daylight) camera auto adjust ISO.
the fogs looks obviously brighter than the heads.
I've seen new cars with no projector with not much glare like new civic, vios. it is because of the better cut-off of halogen reflector these days, combined with bad choice of HID brand.
but any car that bleeds light like a star to your eyes is glare. and glare is relative to the environment. on city lights, less glarey star. but on dark provincial highway roads, it will glare bad, since our eye part, the retina will adjust to the surrounding lights, kung maraming lights source, our retina will reject some light to protect the eye. but kung dark place, our retina, absorbs all the light it could get. just like ISO on cameras. but a sudden bright light in a dark surrounding will make the retina reject light as fast as it could, then after the glarey vehicle passes by you, you will be blind for few secs because your retina is still set for bright lights.
you can add or convert any rides to projector. all you need is money and a good shop.
it's not only irresponsible HID users but people with old cars that didn't adjust their aims, as the car gets old, the aim has a tendency to move over time.Last edited by rion; August 1st, 2008 at 01:41 AM.
