    1) MNTC ruling on OVERLOADING sa NLEX is 13.50 Tons/axle, so for 10wheeler truck max load is 13.50 tons n 18 wheeler trailer truck 27 tons TAMA BA?? (please correct me if I'm wrong) kc majority of the truck Including me, load their 10 wheeler up to 20 tons n trailer up 35-40 tons.to maximize our expenses per trip.

    2) assuming max load for 10 wheeler is only 13.50 tons, so pag kinargahan mo ng mga 16 tons HULI ka kc overloading nga, masisira daw NLEX, pero pag yun trailer with a load of 27 tons lang hindi huhuliin kc nga hindi daw overload, pero ano mas mabigat? 27 o 16 tons? although mas maraming gulong ang trailer, I think pareho lang yun impact sa road kc nga mas mabigat din karga, sabi pa ng MNTC 85% daw ng dumadaan na truck sa NLEX is OVERLOADING, e alam na pala nila yun, e di sana nun ginagawa nila yun NLEX dapat naka design na siya for heavy load like 50-70 tons, my point is parang gumawa MNTC ng isang bridge tapos hindi pwede dumaan ang jeep with 30 passenger(assuming kasya) kc overloading n sasabihin masisira yun bridge, pero pwede dumaan ang malaking truck with cargo (not overloaded), pero d hamak na mas mabigat ang truck compare sa jeep with 30 passenger. another point is if assuming NLEX is design for heavy load 50-70 tons or more, syempre nasa a truck owner na yun if he/she want his truck to be overloaded and wear his truck engine n tires easily dba?

Safety siguro ang issue ... as indicated by some of their billboards.

Sinasabi "Konting tulak na lang, matutumba na yung truck" or something like that. Its an exagerrated statement but the message is there. An overloaded truck endangers other people's lives.

It's the responsibility of the truck owner to make sure his truck will not cause any accidents or inconvenience to others. Peace.

kaya nga po per axle ang weight limit. iba po ang impact kahit mas mabigat yung isa. mas malaki ang force ng 16 tons on a single axle than 27 tons on double axles. divide mo yung weight per wheel dahil ito ang may direct contact sa daan.

    To oversimplify things...

If you carry 1 sack of rice on your shoulders, mabigat di ba? E kung dalawa kayo 1 sack pa rin, pero yung bigat on each person is just half.

iba kasi ang impact pag concentrated ang load kesa distributed load and sa uniform load. lesser impact pag mas madami yun gulong.

    ehehehe, nasagutan na pala. :D

the sack of rice analogy is best.

yes, that's true, it's up to the truck owner. the thing is, it'll also damage the road (and the repair cost will be passed on sa other users who won't damage the road as much), and having an overloaded truck is a safety risk as well.
