not using signal lights on the highway

yesterday (Nov. 1), while going home from the cemetery, along MacArthur Hiway in Bamban, Tarlac, medyo slow moving yung southbound lane, and maluwag naman sa northbound. meron isang pa-southbound na green Isuzu Trooper bigla ba naman nag turn left papunta sa Shell on the opposite side of his road. hindi rin gumamit ng signal lights. pucha talaga sya, todo brake ako, halos lumipad yung anak ko na nakasakay sa likod papuntang windshield, pero buti sa sandalan ng front seats tumama, sapol yung mukha ng anak ko! siguro ma-late lang ako ng 1 sec sa pag apak ko ng brakes, head on na kami.

Just bear in mind to stay always on the slower lane except when overtaking slower vehicles, and make appropriate light signals when necessary. Huwag mo na lang pansinin yung mga walang kwentang tao sa mundo. Don't let them make your day.

For over a generation already, most of the public drivers had their training either from driving a truck, a tricycle, or a jeep, without proper guidance, and without working signal lights. Plus for almost a decade, the inner lanes of our streets are virtually dangerous to use because it is occupied by parked vehicles, that's why cars nowadays travel on the center lane either by (no choice) or by instinct (due to consistently no choice in other streets). Eventually, other more disciplined drivers are forced to follow the majority, and either do it out of no choice, or eventually developed such bad habits unconsciously.
Yan ang problema ng pinoy dito sa pinas. Dito lang yan, kasi pag nag drive ka naman sa labas, nagiging conscious na naman tayo about what is the right and wrong way to drive.

Just the other morning I almost had an accident in the (ayala) tunnel, may van na nakasunod sa mabagal na owner jeep bigla ba namang lilipat sa lane ko nung medyo katabi ko na, wala man lang signal, muntik na ako nabanga sa kanya, he missed me by a couple of inches. Dahil medyo nabigla ako I had to evade him by going close to the wall, kala ko tatama na ako...

Tapos nung isang umaga naman (4am) sa SLEX may crosswind na nasa slow lane, wala naman vehicle sa harap nya, pumunta sa middle lane where I was approaching, as usual walang signal, malamang isa nanamang di tumitingin sa side mirror.

Kaya ngayon madalas pag highway driving, kahit gitna ng araw naka on headlights ko. Daming mga bulag at *&^%$#*! sa daan...

napanood nyo ba yun movie na sneakers, nag-comment yun mga nagsurveillance sa target nila. yun target nila uses left & right turn signals. sabi nun isa nagsurveillance, he must be the most boring person in the whole world hehehe
