The traffic signs should be specific. "No U turn" means no U turn. If the traffic authority wanted to have no left turn, it should put "No Left Turn" sign also.

Yup, this should be the case to avoid confusion. With the way a lot of our roads are structured, whether or not an automatic 'no left turn' or 'no u turn' should be observed when only one of the two signs is posted is subject to too much interpretation. To simplify things, 'no left turn' only, should just mean no left turn.

correct. for you to break a law, the law has to be there in the first place. same goes with ordinances, kung walang ordinance against it, then wala kang ginawang mali (sa mata ng batas). walang automatic-automatic sa batas. kung walang nakalagay na "no left turn" dun, therefore, hindi bawal mag-left turn dun.

I think mali yung nanghuli sa yo kasi I've seen some streets that have BOTH No U-Turn AND No Left Turn na signs magkatabi naka post (positioned one over the other) so meaning that there are locations wherein you can turn left but cannot make a U-Turn.

Malapit na kasi pasko eh, baka nag-iipon yung officer nayun .

    Sipag!

No U-Turn, meaning also no left turn??
