When I take out our dogs for a walk, I bring along a long stem dustpan and a broom (88 pesos for the pair at your local Japan Home store).
That way I can clean up after the deed.

I used to have the same dilemma where I live. Thing is, dogs, specially males, are highly territorial and dominant. They most likely look at your place as its territory, that is why he marks it. He attacks your dog to show it's dominance. Best is to report the insidences to your village or barangay, since there is a law on story dogs. The barangay will catch the dog & impound it until the owner claims it after paying a fee.

I also bought an air soft gun. So just to have fun, I just imagine I am a sniper. It won't penetrate the skin anyway, parang pinitik lang ng malakas. Just don't shoot the head.

July 29th, 2014 10:30 PM #137if it's a mongrel stand your ground dont be scared, the louder the bark means thmore scared he is, bring a tennis racket or a badminton racket to shield yourself or an a umbrella.(open the umbrella if the dog comes at you) last resort is to use a dog whistle however this will al irritate your fat lab
only dogs to fear are those that doesnt bark and attack without warning, such as untrained pitbull(love them) belgian malinois, rott, doberman, they only bark if they cant attack( kasi nakakulong silas)
