That's PhilComCen. Lolo used to work at PhilCom (that's at Makati), and they're still operational.

OT anong name ng lolo mo? doon ang first job ko. nag trbaho ako dun for 3 years. meron pang mga old timers that time (mga around 50 yrs old) kinukwento nila yun glory days ng philcom dati nun uso pa yun telegram/telex...

Off topic...

His name is Ben, and his first job there was as a computer engineer (one of the pioneers in the country). That was before he was given a desk job during the mid-70's. Lolo always told me stories about the heyday of Telex and how hard (and slow) it was to receive signals from outside the country. He retired a manager in 1992.

Too bad, PhilCom should've ventured into the ISP business since computers and communication were their business from the start. They still operate landline networks in Mindanao today.
