Bakit sila nalibre? Kasi laging ninanakawan Dunkin Donuts noong di pa libre sa mga pulis products nila.

After naging libre na, the theft stopped.

And isn't it much nicer na yung authorities are almost everywhere? Unless criminal ka or some filthy communist, you would feel more secure.

Napakalaki naman ng bus or jeep, ano ba naman yung extra two to three na libre. Libreng protection pa. It's not like sya lang ang sakay mo.
I understand the statement but then, the question is why shouldn't they pay the fare? Even if it's for protection and all, the bus operators are making a living out of those seats that are being taken by them. IMO, they should be fair in paying the fare (wow! rhyme ). I would be glad and grant the free ride if the traffic enforcers / MMDA are fair in the highways like what lexter said, mga di nakahelmet and they're enforcing people to wear protection gear.
Practice what you preach ika nga.

They could have an MOU with the operators so that they ride for free. In the US most transit authorities have an MOU with other law enforcement agencies for officers to ride for free on or off duty. Maybe someone could find out the answer before jumping to conclusions and castigating traffic enforcers/MMDA.

I think they are not exempted from paying fares. It's up to the driver or conductor if they would collect fares. Otherwise, it's another form of "kotong".

I ride the bus often, and the policemen that I have ridden with always pay for their fair.

In my opinion, dapat lahat ng authorities (pulis/ military / special forces / even mmda) libre ang fare sa mga public transpo (except taxi) to further enchance their work.

A bus for example can normally seat 80-100s of people. ano ba naman yung libre na isa hanggang tatlo?, may free bodyguard pa kayo.

These people are human beings too, they also need their pride. Siempre if people around you by default respects you, siempre you'll have more sense of well-being and you'll do better in your job. Being in a better state of mind will lessen chances of being a crook.

another example is if may hinahabol yung pulis kaso wala syang pamasahe, di nakatakas na yung criminal.

But does it mean we should be hopeless? of course not.

We should look at the bigger picture here.

When I come into power, i will surely enforce this.
