With regard to right of way, he and his principal (both using unmarked vehicles and had security plates on) should have slowed down before merging from the U-turn slot. It doesnt matter if they're more important then most of us and the fact it was freakin 6 in the morning, what's the stupid rush? AMP, i left the house early so i could have a leisurely drive to the office. Being a security vehicle and VIP doesnt give you the right to drive carelessly and endanger the general public.

To add to it, he was even saying that they want to settle daw sa loob ng Crame instead of going to the proper precinct to report the accident. What a mofo. Of course i refused. The police investigator in the station wasnt much help either and claimed that based on the damaged locations on both vehicles (my front bumper corner and his front right fender) i was undoubtedly at fault... galing. He doesnt seem to understand the meaning of right of way and that there is just no way to stop and avoid a vehicle that deliberately blocks your path with only a few meters to spare, in the rain at that. Buti bumper lang and scratched headlight ang damage ko and my insurance already replaced the parts. As for that police officer, i'll just let him try his luck in claiming from my insurance.... tangingining talaga.
Kakainis wala rin pala silbi pag abolish ng wangwang ganon parin sila, kala mo naman napaka importante lakad nila mangungurakot lang naman mga bwisit na yan (not all)

Keeping the convoy moving and together is part of the job of personal security personell and if they cannot keep the vehicles moving, the next best thing is to keep the pack together so they can respond to any situation that may arise.

Different traffic scenarios can force a vehicle to break off from the convoy temporarily but please just let it back in once it attempts to rejoin.

If your vehicle gets caught in between the lead vehicle and the sweeper and the bullets start flying, the likelihood of your vehicle also ending up like swiss cheese is significantly higher than if you were not in the pack.

Not all convoys are carrying VIP's. Some are transporting valuables in unmarked vehicles to remain discrete.
    +1

in some countries VIP routes are blocked to traffic.... imagine kung ganun ang gagawin nila dito....

BTTT: Hindi kaya convoy ni Obet yan?

sir no question naman po sa pagconvoy ang sakin lang sana maging ma-ingat lang sila unang una hindi po sila visible dahil nga po they are using unmarked vehicle.. if they are using unmarked vehicle to be discrete i think sir running on a high profile convoy style eh mapapansin padin po sila. honestly kahit nung nagkaroon ng issue about blinker and siren pagnakakakita po ako nyan i slow down and give way sometimes nga po nagrorolldown pa ko ng window just to wave my hand na saying i'm letting them pass which i usually do on firetrucks and ambulances. ang point ko lang po is napaka arrogante ng vip security nila sila na yung muntik makabangga using unmarked vehicle sana nakarolldown naman yung window nila nagwave man lang sila ng hand pero hindi po para lang silang reckless puv drivers na nag-cut. and nakikita ko sa mga convoy eh the sweeper are extending their hands during changing lanes para makita na kasama sila sa convoy. pero hindi po ganun yung security nun and so dumating sa point na nagkaroon ng argument dahil nga po akala is they are just ordinary vehicles cruising kya po dun sa stop light tinanong ko sila in a soft voice na "sir ano po ba problema muntik nyo na ko binangga?"dahil first time eh muntik nya binangga ako sa likod so napalipat ako ng lane then gusto nya ulit ako i-cut na muntik abutin yung left front fender ko. pero napaka arogante nyang sumagot na "nakaback up kami sa VIP" hindi po ba pde sabihin na "pasensya na nakaback up kami sa VIP"? or just in a simple way hindi yung parang sa tono nila eh wala ka karapatan sa kalye at umalis ka dadaan kmi.. unang una hindi po tao yung hinahawi nila sasakyan na mabilis ang takbo na may tendency na ma-aksidente..

walang kwenta talaga tanggal ng sirens and blinkers eh. Hindi nagbago mga convoys na mga siraulo. I used to have sirens and blinkers before and everytime na yung mga siraulo na convoy eh palapit na sakin at icut or gigitgitin ako i open my blinkers and siren them. Napapaiwas din sila. I'm using those gadgets lang para sa mga bus, jeepneys, tricycle and convoys na siraulo but not to join them sa kalokohan nila na naghaharm ng other motorists at nangbubully sa kalsada.

Nung panahon pa ni ex-PGMA, then PAGCOR chairman Efraim Genuino used to go to Los Baños with motorcycle police escorts and using wang wang with lots of back-up vehicles.

Ngayon, wala na silang police escort, yet lagi padin sila naka hazard at nagccounterflow. Ang sasakyan nya ay Black Lincoln Navigator with plate # ELG-08, back-up nya ay Black Cadillac Escalade at Blue na Mitsubishi Pajero.
