even though the plate says TEMPORARY PLATE WITH PERMIT.. that doesnt mean the cop will know immediately if the van really has a permit. hindi naman kasi tayo ganoon ka updated when it comes to police tech... unlike sa US. na bago nila pahintuin ang sasakyan..nakikita na nila sa computer nila all the details of the car owner and the car itself.

Sir, this is not the first license plate we've lost around here. This is actually the third. The first two, only rudimentary temporary plates were installed and had no incidents of being flagged down and hassled on the road. Only on the third one did I have better looking temporary plates made. I have no qualms about routine traffic stops, but local cops really need to go to finishing school. Parang mga kanto boy magsalita and walang ka-pino-pino sa katawan. All the papers are in order, hindi na kailangan magduda pa after kung bakit masyado maganda, paano namin nagawa yun, and kesyo baka may machine pa na panggawa ng fake plates.
As for the tinted plate covers, yes I stopped at the mobile that is on standby as you enter Caloocan from Q.C. to inform the [sleeping] officer there that a Revo with tinted plate covers (but no plates underneath just passed by). What does he do? Nothing except to claim that he will just radio the Monumento mobile. The REVO also eludes the mobile stationed at Monumento and heads off into the direction of Valenzuela. Easy as that.
Revo with no plates - free to go
NTV777 with all his illegal sirens and flashers - free to go
Pajero assisting stranded motorist - gets chased and apprehended by cops (may sariling thread ito)

3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
