September 16th, 2011 04:57 PM #43That's not completely true. The physiological effects of marijuana vary greatly with the age of the user. While it is relatively safe for adults, it is a powerful mind-altering substance when taken in by teens and children. There are multiple, documented accounts of teenages who are now permanently hearing 'voices in their head', because of having developed a marijuana addiction at an early age.
Ex: BBC NEWS | Programmes | Panorama | My son and cannabis
Witholding opinion on whether or not the drug is be safe enough to be decriminalized, it has been proven dangerous enough, to certain age groups at least that, strict regulation is still necessary.
I don't understand your need to defend morons like those who smoke weed in public either. The irresponsible and insensitive image of marijuana users they paint is likely detrimental to your advocacy group.

September 16th, 2011 05:04 PM #44Here's an excellent documentary on Cannabis. Dr John Marsden takes an in-depth look at 'weed':
BBC - BBC Two Programmes - Horizon, 2008-2009, Cannabis: The Evil Weed?
Cannabis is the world's favourite drug, but also one of the least understood. Can cannabis cause schizophrenia? Is it addictive? Can it lead you on to harder drugs? Or is it simply a herb, an undervalued medicine?
Addiction specialist Dr John Marsden discovers that modern science is finally beginning to find answers to these questions. John traces the cannabis plants' birthplace in Kazakhstan; finds the origins of our sensitivity to cannabis in the simple sea squirt; and shows just what it does to our brains.
He meets people who have been changed by this drug in drastically different ways - from those whose lives have been shattered to those who lives have been revived.

September 23rd, 2011 04:38 PM #49hahaha.. this one's good..
good point..
for me naman.. it's your choice of whether to use it or not... ako kahit ano, wala pa akong nattry..
muntik na sa magic brownies kasi hindi nila ako ininform.. nalasahan ko lang na kakaiba.. ayun..
I smoke cigarrette and drink liquor.. because that was my preference..
for me lang ah.. if Legalization of the use of "weeds" is for MEDICAL purposes.. why not??
pero kung pera-pera lang yan.. (which I can see na may tendency na doon patungo).. THE HELL!!! pushers pa din tawag sa inyo!!!Last edited by Paul_01; September 23rd, 2011 at 04:40 PM.

kung sa caa iyan sa las pinas, you've got to watch your back, sir ts. the place is pretty notorious 9as you very well know) so better be careful and discreet when reporting to the authorities. mahirap na baka bweltahan ng mga sira ulo dyan
but i do agree w/ some of the posters here re: the appropriate use of weed. that much i can say hehe
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
