Let's just hope wala ring ganon sa Fortuner.

I vote this as the most sensible post in this thread.

A boycott will only favor Toyota because it's going to ease up their waiting list and rid them of unreasonable customers, and give them more time to make sure that the Fortuner is indeed worth waiting for, para sa mga customers na matitira.

If you really want the Fortuner to get here sooner, adding your names to the already long waiting list is certainly not the way to make it happen.

Parang pelikula yan eh, halimbawa Harry Potter. Then, come opening day, andami mong nakasabay na tao sa sinehan, to the extent na hindi mo rin na-enjoy yung pelikula.

To those car owners who already placed their reservations and are now complaining: necessity ba talaga yan, to the point na kailangan pang magreklamo dahil lang sa matagal? Just call it paying the price of impatience. Nobody poked a gun at your head and forced you to go to the nearest Toyota dealership. If you're stubborn enough to stick with Toyota at this time just for the Fortuner, then I think it's only fair na magtiis. Otherwise, as mentioned, there are alternatives that are either available right now or coming soon.

We can't blame Toyota if they are imposing higher interest rates for in house financing. I think that is one of their ways to discourage you to put your reservation for the Fortuner, para di sila madagdagan ng mangungulit sa kanila.

i think the main reason talaga kumbakit andami gusto na ma-drive fortuner ngaun is bec. talagang para ka naka-prado.

Have patience my friend, its a virtue. Don't rush into anything specially with the amount of money involved, its an investment, you can't just snap your fingers and say "I want to buy this" and if it isn't available you boycott it?

I don't think that's the point of the thread starter.

The LONG wait is a bit ok. But to harass people into getting overpriced financing deals & insurance isn't.

And as what you said... it is a free country. Anyone can propose a boycott of anything.

i admit that the long que for the Fortuner gives Toyota the last say about things. But it does not mean that I have to give in to their unprofessional offers like prioritizing those who would take Toyota's in house financing and insurance package. If you really like an item it would not mater if you have to wait.
