Maybe its just me, but I always like to hear the ratcheting sound of the fuel filler cap, kaya hindi ko pwedeng makalimutan na maiwan yun, hehehe. Pag narinig ko na kasi yun, that's my cue to start the car

I guess I'd have to believe Chieffy since he used to run a service station. hehehe.
Btw, the Benz's ghetto fuel filler cap does not ratchet.

Then again, wala pa masyadong plastics nuon. But this feature is handy for Manila's gas stations. Here in the US, self serve. I fill my own car with fuel.
By the way, do you notice if the gas boys (or girls) use the spring sa gas flap when fueling your car? I mean do they put the cap there para di mawala?

Sir, matagal na pong nawala yung original fuel filler cap nung W123 (the first owner lost it), oil filler cap na ang fuel filler cap niya ngayon.

I always go there to have my tires inflated sa tamang psi. Di nga lang pag fuel, m with XCS ngayon kasi e.

is this the one after the former mazda commonwealth, na now kia dealer and may katabing nissan?
naalala ko dati, we went to pick up our familia from the casa nearby, nagpagas kami, the gasboy forgot to shut off the pump, it was spilling gas for a good 5 minutes. buti na lang umuulan at nabanlawan kagad yung mga tumagas na excess gas. i wonder how much he paid for? hehehe. this was way back i believe 2001.
