Almost similar incident in my case. Not with windshield washing though but on juvenile delinquent harassing my place.

Solution.

    * mam cathy_for_you : harass nga.

    * sir kcboy : haha! dyan din ako "naduraan"

dagdag ko pa pala. yung hugas boys medyo mabula bula yung isasaboy nila na tubig. yung talagang merong sabon. kapag deyn mo sila inabutan, deyn nila sasabuyan ng "malinis" na tubig. iiwanan nila yung salamin mo na meron tubig na halong sabon. kup*l talaga!

I leave a gap in front.

Last week I edged forward when a kid was reaching for my windshield to wipe it, as I moved forward my side mirror smacked him HARD on the back of his head (was accidental naman) then he walked off scratching his head.

I don't feel sorry for them, not even an ounce of pity. Although I was surprised nothing was hurled at my car because from his POV i kinda deserved it

    Reason 1:
Maraming nagbibigay/nagbabayad. Meaning, maganda itong source of income sa pang-araw-araw. Gagayahin na ito ng iba.

    Reason 2:

    By the way:

Just keep your windows up and when approaching a stop light keep a two car space infront of you. This way you can wave them off and move forward. Never roll down your window. Your car is there to protect you.

The Juvenile Delinquency Law that is being implemented as of today is OBSOLETE. -DSWD

I think the whole stretch of Ramon Magsaysay Blvd. till Aurora Blvd. SM Centerpoint is where they operate, even here at J. P. Laurel St. cor A. H. Lacson which is near Malacanang Palace meron din mga ganito.

The sad thing here is that the average law abiding motorist has virtually no way to protect himself/herself from these ruffians.

You can't just ignore them because they'll damage your car, or even throw rocks at you that could cause injuries.

You can't keep giving them money because you will just encourage them to continue their bad practices.

You can't shout or scream at them cause they'll fight back, especially since there's many of them.

You can't just complain to the cops because it'll be viewed as a small thing; worse police may even be the coddlers/protectors of those bums.

You can't take out your gun at them as you could be charged with grave threats. Definitely can't shoot them as you could be charged with murder or homicide, and will cause the Commission on Human Rights (and other cause oriented, civil liberty groups) to go after your bum.

You can't beat them up even if you could as you could be charged with child abuse (if these are kids) or assault and battery (if these are adults).

So as a law abiding, tax paying citizen, what can you really do to protect yourself when a gang of eight to ten kids, teens, and adults surround your car, forcibly "wash" it despite your protestations, and demand money for their "service" to you?

Could someone with a big angry rottweiler set it on these pests? Or maybe even a pet snake.
