In case the report turned out to be false and they mentioned Honda, here comes the libel suit.
They played it safe, but they could have just been fair about it.

oo nga ano, pati brand na Honda hindi na-mention. and mali din yung pagkakadescribe nila sa city mo as "THE most fuel-efficient in the world today". baka isipin ng mga tao Jazz yung car mo. pero parang hint na rin ito na Honda nga ang car mo.

i agree, it's useless and lazy journalism on the part of this SA Maguire person...
they should have contacted psylocke to get all the facts straight, given Honda a chance to present their side, and written an article that is complete and fact-based. then maybe psylocke could have had a full hearing, and (in fairness) Honda could also have a chance to respond.
this one looks like one of those showbiz chismis articles that sometimes border on outright slander.

This form of reporting is actually the modus operandi of Philippine Daily Star's "gossip" columnist (in the Business Section) such as SA Maguire and Margaret Jao Grey both who have received lawsuits (for slander and libel) or received warnings from the lawyers representing those being "suggested" or "insinuated" in their blind column or "gossip" columns.
